But not together. It’s not advisable to match your housewares.

Am I serious? Privilege? Yes. At least when I'm not joking. While privilege can teach you what shoes to wear with navy blue, and how to do beige linen at all, nothing beats the privilege of being alive. So let's talk style, in the context of culture, and look at beautiful things. For more, please go here. Or you can reach me at my email: skyepeale@yahoo.com. That's the name I wanted to be called when I was 16. Ah. 16....

Love the table setting. I have been changing over the look of the living room in anticipation to moving and it is slowly becoming navy and off white. When I saw this pic I exclaimed "that looks like my living room". Soooo, you know I love it!

Woman, you are good. I hate to say this, but I usually HATE navy. Too preppy for me. But those two images are beautiful! I think I need to be more open-minded.

Hahahahhaha. I just clicked over to leave a comment that the first was quite obviously for ESB, but look, for someone on a blog vacation she was quite quick to the bait.
The second bit I'm not sure about. I'm the kind of WASP that likes all my housewares to be mismatched. Charmingly mismatched. Or really curated. Because as my grandmother/ Miss Manners says, the most proper kind of silver is the mismatched kind, as it shows that it was inherated. By which I mean to stay that I am my own kind of snob (of course). Besides, you don't want your house to look like you tried, that would be new money).
Hee.
