  1. This picture is awesome. I hope I have the opportunity to take a similar picture on my 25th!

  2. Could Princeton produce a more attractive brochure with professional models? I think not. Congratulations to the newest graduate.

  3. Did your Significant Other take that photo? Because I’ve seen that great big grin before!

  4. Wow. STUNNING photo. Congratulations!

[And when you get a “spare moment,” please share your thoughts on how a non-legacy applicant (of the white male non-WASP variety) might have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting into Princeton. I’d be much obliged!]

  5. BURSTING with pride for all three of you beautiful geniuses. And thank you to all three for permitting this photo to appear on my screen. What joy!

  6. So awesome, Lisa! Congratulations on such a beautiful and intelligent family! Well done!

  7. OK, I agree your jacket is ugly, but everything else in the photo is GORGEOUS! You AND your children. This is the first photo I’ve seen of you on this blog that I think really looks like the real you (now that I know the real you.) Have fun with your beautiful family.

  8. Hi! I believe our grown children are the absolute best accessories!! You look so happy, and so beautiful!! Congratulations to all three of you! Peace, Stephanie

  9. You can see where they got that joie de vivre. Such a pleasure, thank you!

    1. “Everything as it should be.”

Well said! And I can’t help knowing that an achievement of the sort you set in quotations is no accident. If everything is as it should be, then goals and standards were carefully articulated, nurtured, bred, guided over time with lots of love, love for learning and a fair amount of discipline. A monumental effort on the part of all three in the photo, with this monumental reward justly deserved. And it’s just the beginning!

  10. That is a great photo and it really captures a big moment. Best to your family.

  11. Dear, when comparing your… oh so lovely jacket to mine, I can say that yours can at least be worn in public as an accessory. Mine is far toooo white, there is no way to make it blend with anything. It is like wearing a Lilly. :)
    Congratulations on your litter.

    Always, Bumby

  12. You look absolutely aglow…and so very proud, what a special moment for the three of you!
    Many, many congratulations!!!
    xo J~

  13. The two very best reasons for the smile on your face and every reason to be proud. Congratulations, Lisa.

  14. Congratulations! Your happiness leaps off the screen and into my heart. All the best.

  15. Long time reader though I’ve never commented, but I wanted you to know that you are absolutely glowing in this picture…beautiful and radiant come to mind! I’m guessing that those two beautiful children on either side of you have a little something to do with that…what you must be feeling on the inside is absolutely reflected on your smiling face. :-)

  16. awesome! we love a great photograph that captures us at our best…

    congratulations, beautiful family!
